We’re a bit behind on our updates – they say “the cobbler’s children never have any shoes” and it seems this applies to web designers too.
However, even if it was a month ago, we’re still very proud to add First Contact Languages to our fairly marvellous Kent Website Design portfolio.
When Roger came to talk to us about his website he had a bit of a problem. He needed to update his site regularly and wanted to add a blog, but he couldn’t afford the rates his web designer was charging.
Roger provides language tuition, he offers French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish lessons in Whitstable, Kent. He also publishes a series of language eBooks and audio downloads, which was where the cost issues manifested themselves.
We were able to completely rebuild Roger’s site onto a user-friendly WordPress back-end. This made it possible for him to carry out his own updates without the charges and delays caused by going back to the designer. The new site is also more search engine friendly, standards compliant and accessible. All this, for less than the quote Roger had received to add his latest publication to his site.
This leaves Roger with the time, and money, to grow his business and explore other media – the next step is online video – all possible without any extra outlay.
