Ok, perhaps there should be an extra comma in there, “Building a PC, in 60 seconds”. Or we can get even more accurate with:

But it just doesn’t sound the same, does it?
So, for some background…
The BNI 60 second slot
Each week at BNI, the members are “given an opportunity to continue to process of educating their fellow members about their business” – in other words, a 60 second presentation.
A few weeks ago, our chapter had a “Prop Day” where we all took in some piece of equipment relevant to our trades. Chris Rawlinson, of Building And Landscape Services brought in a little Lego house that he proceeded to extend and convert during his slot. This inspired me to show the members how I build a PC, to give them some insight into what is hidden away inside those dark, mysterious boxes under their desks.
However, I don’t think I could build one in my six monthly 10 minute slot, at least not one that would work very well, never mind 60 seconds. Instead, I am presenting a series of slots as the PC grows.
On with the build
Much though I would have loved to use this opportunity to build myself a nice top-notch Core i7 system, funds will not allow. Instead, I am rebuilding my existing PC with most of the same components. I have picked this rather flash Arianet Clear Acrylic Midi Tower Case to build it into though, as it allows people to get a better look.
So, I hope you enjoy this short series as I try to explain a little about what goes on under the hood of your PC.
