Best laid plans and all that. I have three recent purchases sat in the garage waiting to be used:
1) New steering wheel & boss kit
2) Mesh for the air intake grille in front of the windscreen
3) A replacement dashboard switch for the ventilation fan
I got home early, hoping to do 1, perhaps even 2.
1) Attached boss to wheel, but do not have a socket large enough to take old wheel off.
2) Removed grille, laid mesh in place, realised I do not have the necessary blind fixings to replace grille.
So, I ended up doing 3 instead. Reasonably simple, with a slight complication that my bargain eBay purchase switch had a blown bulb, so I had to take the old one out of the old, broken switch, to put in the new one. All fine and, although it’s the tiniest detail, it’s good to see a a perfect switch in place.
