Our first long trip out with Gertie. The last mile or so we had an intermittent ‘door open’ warning light. All doors were closed. Parked up and the alarm would not arm properly.
During the course of the afternoon we had a few false alarms, until eventually I lost my patience and decided to work out the cause despite the cold, rain and lack of tools.
The bonnet sensor is giving off false alarms. Having removed it, all seems ok. So, I may (or may not) try fixing it and re-fitting it in the future.
